In July I had the privilege of planning a very special elopement for Taylor & Eric at Cathedral Rock! Originally Taylor had plans on having her wedding here in Maryland (she already booked her venue and had her dress) but she decided to skip the traditional ways and set her own rules! :)
Soooo many beautiful things happened moments leading up to T&E's elopement... Thankfully we had the very talented and kindhearted photographer Victoria Selman to capture it all! (Not to brag but she's seriously one of the best.)
READY FOR THE AWESOME DEATS?!
Imagine a monsoon happening an hour before your elopement. Suddenly by the grace of all things positive it’s stops and you receive a bold overcast that contrasts so perfectly with the red color of the mountains and BOOM you get to elope right then and there surrounded by the best things in life; your partner and the beauty of nature (oh and Victoria, their officiant Steven and I haha).
Wait..... it gets better! After Taylor and Eric said their heartwarming I Do's, they hiked further north with Victoria to share their first dance and take more stunning photographs. I quietly parted ways from the group, let's just say I had a little something up my sleeve ;)
About an hour later from taking portraits the group came down to the bottom of the mountain to find a surprise table setting with wine and sweets waiting for them waiting as they both got to witness the Sedona natives drum circle that played especially that evening from sunset to the dark hours of the night for the lunar eclipse.
SEDONA WAS PERFECT!
Taylor & Eric shared their first dance as husband and wife on the mountains!
