Elizabeth & Will's Bohemian Wedding

Updated: May 20, 2020

Elizabeth and I connected through her amazing photographer Brooke Mattingly. The couple held their intimate wedding ceremony at UMD Chapel in College Park, Maryland. Afterwards we headed over to celebrate their marriage at St. Francis in D.C. That venue screams beauty and character!

Elizabeth & Will's reception was filled with one of our favorite bohemian color schemes: White, cream, beige and mauve with lots of greenery! Her dress was completely out of this world, we really loved how flowy it was and how detailed the straps were. Elizabeth looked like a princess in her dress!

Their wedding is a prime example of why it's important to invest in a great vendor team and not cut corners. Their day went without any hiccups as we all took pride in working hard and well together for this beautiful couple.

Here are Elizabeth's words:

"Jessica went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect. She is incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls/texts. She was fabulous at communicating with all of my vendors, and was very attentive to details. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and ran incredibly smoothly. If anything didn't go to plan, I don't know about it because she handled everything that day! Her two assistants were very professional and helpful as well. I highly recommend her services to anyone needing a planner. Thank you Jessica!"

Here are words from her DJ:

"As a professional wedding DJ since 2009, I have worked with and met many amazing wedding planners but none have come close to Jessica @ Jessica J Events in terms of her preparation for events, her to the point, amazing timelines to keep all of the vendors informed and on schedule, making sure the event runs on time and creating an aura of calmness for her clients, which pervades throughout the event. If you are looking for an event planner, I say "Book Book Book!!!"
